1 Introduction
The characteristics of the Axial Mode Helical Antenna is investigated with Electro Magnetica Nu- merica version 1.7.0. The article reports the model and the results.
Electro Magnetica Numerica
We introduce Electro-Magnetica Numerica which can load shapes from complex CAD data to generate unstructured blocked cells automatically, and which compute in very economical memory storage using FD-TD scheme.
Install Procedures of Electro Magnetica
It is quite easy for you to install Electro Magnetica Numerica on your Mac. The package is a ZIP archive which contains the software, documents and samples and you can place the application anywhere you like. The software include all the library it needs in the package, so you don't need to install any additional libraries.
As for Windows, from version 1.8.1, we prepare installer application to install on your PC. The installer automatically install all you need, EM application, documents and windows system softwares EM needs.
Here, we describe the procedure to download and registration of the software.
A Radial Line Slot Array Antenna Case
RLSA
Radial Line Slot Antenna is a planar antenna, a pair of slot antennas are located on a radial line or cocentric lines to be coherent with the phase, which make the radiation concentrate on the bore side of the antenna.
It is well known as a telemetry antenna of Akatsuki, launched for Venus mission by JAXA.
Here, we show a case of simulation by our house-made simulator, Electro Magnetica Numerical.
Phased Array Helix Antenna
Model
As you can see in the right figure, we take 4 x 4 helical array antenna. Each antenna elements has a hole on the blue ground plane and they are connected to coaxial waveguides.
