As you can see in the right figure, we take 4 x 4 helical array antenna. Each antenna elements has a hole on the blue ground plane and they are connected to coaxial waveguides.

Figure 1Each waveguide sets a signal input port independently, so you can input different signal pattern from the others. The right figure shows the result which are set the same phase to the all input coaxial ports.Radiation Directivity

5 degree tilted Radiation

The last figure shows the result of calculated directivity tilted from z-axis. This is because we set the phase shift should be titled in 5 degree from z-axis toward x-axis at 2.4 GHz.
